We finally received the building permit for 2 pedestrian and cycling bridges over the L50 railway line in Brussels. A competition we won in 2017 together with ipv Delft.
A big one!
The prefabricated 600 ton bicycle tunnel was pushed today into its final position underneath the Tinesesteenweg in Leuven. It is part of our design for a cycle highway within the Park Belle-Vue.

Artgineering and IPV Delft won the competition for two pedestrian bridges over the L50 railway in Brussels. The bridges in St-Agatha-Berchem and Ganshoren are commissioned by INFRABEL allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross over the tracks of the GEN (Regional Express Network). The bridges will be completed by 2021.

New Rural Mobility
The first 3 workshops of our research project ‘New Rural Mobility’ took place in Grolloo/ The Netherlands, Bastogne/ Belgium and Clervaux/ Luxemburg: working with local stakeholders on a change towards a better mobility in rural areas. Made possible by the support of the Dutch Creative Industries Fund.
Artgineering, H+N+S, Erfgoed&Visie and Arcadis work ‘on site’ in Hansbeke together with local inhabitants and other stakeholders on a masterplan for the village. On the agenda: presentations, joint walks through the village and its surroundings, open studio days and design workshops.
